Lady Leopards Golf placed 4th at the Stark County Invitational

The cold and windy conditions were causing all the teams, including the Lady Leopards, to struggle. It was supposed to be partly sunny, but the weather had other plans. Thankfully, the sun eventually came out and the wind died down, but by then, most of the scoring had already taken place. Despite the challenging weather, we gave it our all and left everything on the field.

The Louisville Leopards did pretty well at the competition! They managed to beat GlenOak, Massillon, Marlington, Perry, Alliance, and Canton Central Catholic. However, couldn't quite keep up with Hoover, Jackson, and Lake. In the end, Lake finished with a team score of 338 strokes, while the Lady Leopards closed with a score of 362. All in all, it was a good effort by the Leopards team, placing 4th out of 10 teams.

Team medalist was Peyton Biery with a fine score of 83. Anna Myers followed close behind with an 86. Natalie Warner fired a 94. Isabelle Tack finished with a 99. Jenna Steenrod closed with a 114 and Brooklyn Sommers rounded out the scoring with a 118. With three more 9 hole matches and then the Sectionals and the Districts, they have what it takes to keep this season going strong.
